During the period of swarming, the Bee Charm is a valuable ally to attract and direct vagabond swarms to a previously installed ruchette.
Formulated from carefully selected natural species, this repellent acts as a real attraction for bees looking for new homes.

Mode d’emploi :
✅ Spray directly on the inside walls of the ruchette trap, insisting on the frames and entrance.
✅ Repeat the operation once a week for optimal efficiency.
✅ Ideally, place the trap 1 or 2 meters from the ground, in a stable place and shelter from the wind.

How to attract a swarm of bees?

To increase the chances of attracting a swarm into your ruchette, here are some essential tips:

🐝 Respect good beekeeping practices Avoid placing your traps too close to neighbouring apiaries so as not to interfere with their activity.

🐝 Use material already impregnated with bee odours :

• Prefer a ruchette that has already contained bees.

• Spend a torch on the wood to reactivate the scents of propolis and wax, very attractive for swarms.

🐝 Strengthening the attractiveness of the trap :

• Apply Bee Charm or rub inside with leaves of Lemon or melice.

• Add 2 old blackened frames to reassure the swarm and promote its installation.

🐝 Choose the right location :

• Place the ruchette on a stable support, slightly raised (1 to 2 meters from the ground).

• The swarms often look for protected cavities, such as hollow tree trunks or roofs, so a quiet and secure place will be more attractive.

🐝 Recover swarm at the right time :

• Wait until the night falls before intervening, when all the bees have returned.

• Once captured, move the swarm and transfer it into a hive at the warmest hours of the next day.
