Jambage Bar for Dadant Body Frame 🐝

The Dadant hive body frame leg bar is designed to transform a basic frame into a leg frame or to repair an existing frame. It adapts on all Dadant body frames and allows a more natural construction of the alveoles, without requiring bees to base themselves on a embossed wax sheet.

💡 Why use a leg bar?
✅ Quick construction : Allows bees to quickly build new frames.
✅ Natural method : Gives bees more freedom to create alveoles at their own pace.
✅ Without wire : Just add a wax primer band under the main horizontal bar.
✅ Optimized distribution : The central reinforcement bar improves rigidity and distributes the construction of the cells over two zones.

⚠️ Instructions for use :

• With a burette, introduce a wax primer 15 mm high (about 3 cells) to guide the construction of bees.
• The bar should not be perfectly diagonal, a slight gap at the top of the frame is recommended.
• Introduce legging frames into start of season, with a syrup supply to facilitate construction.
  🚨 Attention :
• Never place an unbuilt leg frame in the centre of the broodThis could disrupt the colony.
• Never put two frames with side-by-side leg, bees could build perpendicularly.
