Jambage frame for Ruche Langstroth 🐝

The leg frame allows bees to quickly erect and build new frames. Unlike a standard frame, simply install a small embossed wax primer band under the horizontal main bar. The central reinforcement bar ensures the holding of the wax and, thanks to it, the embossing of the bees is very well distributed over two zones, instead of a single zone. This frame does not require wires for construction.

💡 Instructions for use :
✅ With a burette, insert a 15 mm high wax primer (about 3 cells) to guide the bees in their construction.
✅ The leg should not follow a perfect diagonal, a small gap at the top of the frame is necessary.
✅ Introduce the legs at the beginning of the season, with syrup to help the bees fill the frames.
⚠️ Attention :

• Never place the unbuilt leg frame in the centre of the brood, but always at the end of the brood. This could lead to the division of the colony, the blocking of the bridge and a swarm.
• Never place two frames side by side, as bees can build perpendicularly.
